Job Description
The Creative Studio Traffic Manager is responsible for overseeing creative production workflows, resourcing, and output. As well as leading on creative project management for internal client relationships and briefs, this role supports a team of in-house creatives and content producers, who plan, conceptualise, and develop assets and materials for a broad range of internal and external channels, resources and activity, working towards our vision of a UK without the need for food banks.
Role responsibilities
• Works with the Senior Creative Manager to plan, triage and manage the output of high-quality creative work that delivers and enhances the Trussell Trust brand; keeps projects on track, monitors and manages project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget, assesses resource availability and skills to assign the right people to each project and task.
• Works closely with the Senior Content Manager and Content team, oversees end to end internal creative commissioning processes for content and asset production (including graphic design, copy, photography, and video) acting as internal consultant or project lead as required.
• Manages and administers the Creative team project and traffic management platform, overseeing creative workflow management, planning, triaging, prioritising, scheduling, and allocating both team and external resource to align with strategy.
• Manages long term engagement, as well as day to day communications with stakeholders in the organisation and food bank network to deliver high quality and brand enhancing communications, ensuring resources, guidance processes and training are created and rolled out appropriately.
• Schedules and leads meetings, ensuring key actions are followed through, and acts as a key liaison for projects to others in the Trussell Trust staff teams and Network to promote effective communication and teamwork.
• Works closely with the Food Bank Network resources team to plan and deliver assets for our network of food banks.
• Manages the Creative team intranet presence, ensuring communication around the team’s offer and processes are well understood and regularly updated.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Demonstrable experience of managing and administrating project/traffic management software and tools for specialist creative workflows.
· Understanding of creative and production processes, particularly graphic design, copy and multimedia production.
· Experience in delivering high profile and multi-channel creative assets.
· Experience of capacity and resource planning.
· Detailed knowledge of creative workflows, scheduling, commissioning, budgeting, and project management.
· Knowledge of agency and freelance procurement and management, across creative services in particular.
