Our SPINternship will be a dynamic exploration of opportunities within the space sector, encompassing comprehensive market research and strategic relationship-building activities. The SPINtern will delve into the intricacies of the space industry, identifying emerging trends, market size, and potential gaps. Moreover, the intern will actively engage with prime companies in Northern Ireland, forging connections and exploring avenues for collaboration. This multifaceted approach will not only refine our understanding of the space market but also establish meaningful partnerships, positioning our SME for enhanced participation and contribution to the evolving landscape of space-related initiatives. The SPINtern will play a pivotal role in implementing findings from previous market research, fostering growth, and solidifying our presence in the space sector. By undertaking these activities, we aim to contribute to the larger space community while providing valuable learning experiences for the intern, aligning with the overarching goals of the Space Placements in Industry (SPIN) scheme. Academic qualifications for the SPINtern should include enrolment in a relevant university program, such as engineering, business, or space-related disciplines. Process details:
8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate
5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
