Job Description

Path to Parliament: Candidate Residential Applications

We’re inviting potential Green Party parliamentary candidates to apply for a place at our Path to Parliament event — a chance to connect, learn, and explore what it means to stand as a Green MP.

📍 21–23 November 2025

📍 Location: Staffordshire

(Please note: attendance at this event is not a requirement to stand as a Green MP candidate. Selections will be run by local parties in areas we can win from summer 2026. This residential is designed to be a training opportunity to find out more about being a Green MP, to provide guidance and advice about the selection process and to act as a way for us to identify talented individuals who could use a hand connecting with a winnable green area. Please do apply today.)

Tickets, Costs and Deadlines!

The Green Party is covering the core costs of the event — including the venue, speakers, staffing, food and drink — to help keep it accessible to all.

There are three pass types:

  • Full Weekend Pass – Arrive Friday evening, depart Sunday afternoon

  • Weekend Pass – Arrive Saturday morning, depart Sunday afternoon

  • Day Delegate Pass – Sunday only

You’ll be asked to indicate your preferred ticket type in the application form. We’ll do our best to accommodate your choice, though final allocations will depend on availability and event needs. We ask for a contribution of:

  • £40 for weekend passes (includes accommodation and all meals)

  • £15 for Sunday one day delegate passes (includes meals)

If cost is a barrier, successful applicants can apply to our Access Fund for support with your event pass and travel costs.

Application deadline: Sunday 5th October 2025, end of the day.

Successful applicants will be notified at least 5 weeks before the event.
