Job Description

This role is hybrid, working from home up to 3 days per week, with 2 days at our offices based in Loughborough.

Job purpose

You will lead and manage the development and delivery of UKAS’s education programmes through the Clean Sport Hub. This will include overseeing e-learning monitoring and evaluation, life-cycle of future digital learning projects across all education and workforce training programmes and ensuring that it is reviewed accordingly and remains at the cutting edge of both educational practices and Anti-Doping content. 

You will be a member of the Education team who aims to promote and reinforce a culture of clean sport through effective education, creating and developing sustainable, impactful programmes that enable athletes and athlete support personnel to participate and compete in line with the values of sport and abiding by the anti-doping rules.

Key result areas include

•    Manage UKAD’s current eLearning provision, reviewing content, assessments and working effectively with third party suppliers.

•    Coordinate the review of our information programmes on the UKAD website and Clean Sport App.

•    Ensure there is a planned and defined evaluation process for all digital education and information programmes which is documented and includes recommendations for improvement.

•    Oversee the management of the budget associated with eLearning, including reforecasting and budget planning process.

•    Support the Education team in the technical developments of wider programmes and associated resources to add value and educational input, improving the impact and efficacy of our primary prevention programmes.

•    Support the Head of Education in assessing risk, budget requirements and viability of programmes, escalating risks in a timely manner.

•    Development and management of a resource and content plan, including a review schedule in line with

•    Effective management and coordination of key projects.

•    Technical support and input to any Policy or Code revision processes as required, including assisting the Head of Education with the implementation of the International Standard for Education and Code requirements.

Person Specification

Qualifications/ Knowledge / Experience

•    Experience of project management including project development, planning, monitoring, and evaluating against agreed milestones

•    Experience of using eLearning authoring tools, for example Articulate 360 and managing the development of education content such as eLearning courses, assessment and videos

•    Demonstrable experience in creating education programmes, tools and resources to effect behaviour change

•    Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information.

•    Experience of working in education, or an education related role in a sport environment e.g. sporting organisation, NGB or similar. 

•    Have a passion for sport and an interest in UKAD activities.

 Skills

•    Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including well-developed presentation skills, public speaking experience ideal.

•    Ability to actively listen and take on board external feedback.

•    Able to work methodically with good research and analytical skills.

•    Competent Microsoft Office user and knowledge of wider software packages including webinar software.

•    Experience with managing or assisting with a Learning Management System (LMS)

•    Creative approach to work, with the ability to develop innovative solutions and use initiative in problem solving.

•    Competent in a range of writing styles – polices, processes, educational content and resources.

•    Ability to translate technical content to simplified and understandable content that is appropriate for the target audience.

•    Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally to achieve impactful results

•    Excellent budget management skills
