Are you looking to begin or further your career in HR while contributing to the development of HR processes and systems?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised HR Coordinator to join our small but busy HR team on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

As HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing full administration support to the HR Team, particularly supporting the HR Manager to redefine HR administrative processes and systems for our newly created internal HR function. You will also be responsible for coordinating various HR activities throughout the employee life cycle while supporting Redthread to meet its people and organisational culture aspirations.

We are looking for someone who is a people’s person with excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and enjoys working within a varied administrative role. As the position will rely on the use of electronic systems, you will need to be comfortable using technology and HR information systems, particularly self-service and online recruitment portals.

Good communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and quickly build effective working relationships at all levels within the organisation will be essential. As well as managing our HRAdmin mailbox and being the first point of contact in HR for employees, you will be expected to apply a proactive approach to assisting the HR team to coordinate and implement HR processes that work for our staff, managers and the culture of the organisation.

Some HR experience gained within the Charity sector and/or health and social care sector would be helpful however we are happy to consider applicants with relevant skills and a passion for HR.

As the majority of the role will be home based – the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining trust-based working relationships remotely.
