About Investor Education
Investor Education, develops and delivers education products, to support signatory progression and build responsible investment capacity across the sector, by converting PRI thought leadership into practical and applied educational content. The function has a dual mandate to disseminate knowledge, build capacity and effect change; and to deliver a diversified revenue stream to support the wide-ranging work of PRI.
The primary business within investor education is the PRI Academy (a subsidiary of the PRI), an industry-leading online B2B training provider, delivering short, applied courses designed to upskill teams and professionals across the investment sector. Over the next three-years, there are ambitious plans to build out the PRI Education Function, to include a wide variety of products and delivery methods, including potential partnerships with educational institutions and training providers.

Job Description
The Head of Operations – Investor Education is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of the PRI Academy and Investor Education function. This includes designing and implementing processes and policies, leading quality assurance, and leading a team to ensure excellent customer service operations. Additionally, the Head of Operations is responsible for monitoring and reporting on operational performance, managing and tracking sales and invoices, and the maintenances of operational dashboards.
The Head of Operations is responsible for managing relationships and contracts with suppliers, including the Academy’s SaaS providers. The role involves close liaison with the PRI’s wider IT team, who support the Academy in the management of its IT systems and projects. The postholder is also responsible for the management of long-term projects within the Academy to improve systems, procedures and processes.
You will be flexible, creative with strong attention to detail and be able to work well independently as well as support, motivate and mentor the wider PRI Investor Education Team.
Core Responsibilities
Implementing new technologies and key infrastructure updates
Monitoring and managing the day-to-day operational performance of the Academy, ensuring that systems and processes are working effectively, addressing any issues or escalating them to the Director as required
Managing and tracking Academy sales and invoices, and developing and maintaining the relevant operational dashboards
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and all stakeholders
Leading the Operations team, providing coaching and oversight to team members as required.
Meeting with clients to take detailed order briefs and working with them to meet their specific needs or bespoke requirements
Assisting large scale clients’ onboarding processes and contracting.
Providing project management expertise in the oversight of Academy projects to ensure our direction is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across the team
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Help ensure the integrity, suitability and performance of the Academy’s IT platforms,
including implementation of data security measures and related regulatory compliance
Leading and motivating the team to success, providing direction and coaching.
Person Specification
Seasoned professional with experience in leading teams and operations functions, managing projects and delivering results.
Excellent written communication and verbal presentation skills.
Strong IT skills and experience managing third-party service providers/contractors;
Proven people management and leadership skills and experience, preferably in a fast
growing organisation.
A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others, able to take
ownership of challenges or complaints and see them through to resolution.
An interest in responsible investment, sustainability and ESG (environmental, social & governance) issues will be highly regarded;
Experience working with large institutional, global financial services organisations would be desirable.
Must be able to prioritise work and work effectively in a very fast-paced and international business environment.
