Job Description
Purpose
The appraisals team at The Modern House and Inigo works with clients from the point of enquiry to when a house launches on the market. Client Engagement plays a key part in developing relationships with sellers who are new to the company as well as maintaining relationships with longstanding clients.
This role manages ongoing client conversations at the pre-appraisal and post-appraisal stage to ensure sellers are engaged at every step of the sales process. They represent the brand and communicate our value proposition to prospective clients in response to enquiries but also with regularised email check-ins.
They also actively research new potential leads from various sources, to build new relationships with potential sellers and those in our industry. This work is done using targeted marketing outreach via written communication, mailers, and telephone, as well as developing new, responsive and flexible methods of communication.
Client Engagement works closely with the rest of the appraisals team, and in synchrony with the marketing team.
The Client Engagement core responsibilities are:
Clearly and authentically communicating our value proposition to potential clients on the phone and via email
Working collaboratively with the appraisals team towards client sales and commercial goals
Suggesting and implementing outreach campaigns to re-engage clients already on our database
Developing and actioning targeted communication campaigns via post, email and telephone
Actively tracking and reporting progress of all lead outreach
Recording all relevant lead and property information on our database
Engaging with our network, eg developers and architects
Knowledge & skills
Exceptional communication skills: in person, on the phone and in writing
Excellent client care and customer service
Motivated by commercial targets and to win business
Good organiser, time-manager and multi-tasker
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Collaborative; enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a team
Creative and digitally literate
Self-starter and ability to take initiative to generate and execute new campaign ideas
Strong architectural design / built environment knowledge and interest
Strategic and analytic mindset and/ or experience with KPI reporting
Good understanding of UK geography and regionality
