Our clients include People’s History Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Earthwatch, British Museum and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse theatres.
We are currently recruiting a Research Manager to join our team.
About you and the role
As Research Manager, you'll lead research projects and accounts, developing relationships and maximising value delivered for the client and the company. The Research Manager uses their expertise to deliver transformative insights for clients, builds new business and contributes to the company's strategic development.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll do:
Project delivery
Lead insight projects that help our clients reach their goals, profitably delivering high-quality, actionable insights.
Ensure research delivery is focused on client goals through overseeing the development of creative and fit for purpose research tools.
Facilitate qualitative research methods as needed
Lead project teams through the MHM insight process to develop relevant actionable insights for our clients
Set the project team culture to get the best out of all involved
Develop relationships as a trusted insight partner to clients to diagnose opportunities and embed recommendations
Take responsibility for meeting client brief while delivering on time and budget - encouraging efficiency across the team.
Take an active role in business-winnning
Scope and design research projects to address client needs and maximise value.
Take a leading role in developing and delivering research proposals and pitches to persuade potential clients.
Maintain relationships with key clients between projects to ensure we remain their go-to agency and understand the impact of our work.
Contribute to the strategy for, and delivery of, development of relevant market sectors through pro-active sales activity.
Contibute to MHM
Take an active role in developing research skills in others across the team.
Make a positive impact on MHM culture and team engagement through living and actively modelling MHM behaviours
Explore new research methods and trends, identifying opportunities to trial and adopt new approaches.
Contribute to the delivery of, company aims and objectives.
Your skills
You'll be the right person for this job if:
You are experienced in leading or managing research projects
You're passionate about solving problems, no matter if they're big or small; and have a strong mindset of getting things done
You have great communication skills (verbal and written), and are able to explain and present complex issues in an accessible way to various audiences
You actively identify opportunities, deliver improvements, and proactively implement and follow project management methodologies and processes
You are great at managing expectations, ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, and soliciting and acting on client feedback
You are able to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, identifying the salient issues and have experience of conducting primary qualitative research using a range of methods
Applicants should note that, since Morris Hargreaves McIntyre serves a large number of national and international clients, you may be required to undertake work in other U.K locations and overseas (including for clients in US, gulf states, Europe and elsewhere).
