Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Associate to join our central Corporate Communications team at the PRI. The successful candidate will provide essential copywriting, editing and project management capability across key outputs, including the PRI’s Annual Report, Quarterly Signatory Update and All-Signatory Email. The role will also provide guidance and support for Governance and Finance-related communications (and other teams as required),  in the form of newsletters, social media, podcasts, and other written formats.Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to PRI’s mission of promoting responsible investment practices globally.

Core Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Support the Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing Director in delivering against the team’s business plan and budget.

  • Provide regular reporting to Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing Director as required to maintain effective, data-informed communications.

  • Play a significant role in the development and delivery of key outputs including the PRI’s Annual Report, Quarterly Signatory Update and All-Signatory Email, in addition to guidance and support for Governance, Finance and Signatory Services communications.

  • Assist associated marketing and communications colleagues with the drafting and editing of written communications focused on the PRI’s signatory base and potential signatories, as may be required – including web, email, social media and event-related content and associated collateral.

  • Support development of communications guidance, style guides and tone-of-voice to maintain professional and supportive communications with signatories and stakeholders.

  • Develop and coordinate project management across the Corporate Communications and wider Marketing teams, working with related PRI colleagues, as required.

  • Support the maintenance and ongoing development of the PRI external communications calendar and supporting processes.

  • Contribute to the production of podcasts, webinars and events, as required.

Person Specification

  • Excellent written communication (writing and editing) and verbal presentation skills.

  • Experience delivering complex projects successfully, including directing and influencing others in related teams.

  • Well-developed project management skills, ideally with structured training and practical knowledge of one or more project management tools (Asana preferred).

  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others & committed to fostering an inclusive environment.

  • A growth mindset, committed to pursuing continuous professional and personal development as well as developing others.

  • A data-informed approach to communications and marketing, with excellent data skills and practical knowledge of Excel.

  • IT/Digital skills including Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), website, email (ideally Marketing Cloud) , CRM (ideally Salesforce), social media, webcasts, etc.).

  • Language skills, other than English, are desirable.
