Job Description

Overview

It’s all about impact. As an organisation we want to create impact, and to do that we use increasingly smart systems both to run our operational processes and generate great forward-looking business intelligence. These systems underpin the extraordinarily wide variety of activities that we undertake – from reducing childhood obesity, through being a great hospital charity raising lots of money and spending it well, to managing an £850m pool of endowment assets with an active property development team. Our activities are interlinked, and we are approaching our many challenges in new and unique ways.

Our principal operational software is Salesforce, and this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Admin to join a dynamic and highly motivated team that has implemented a huge amount of Salesforce system development over the last couple of years. You’ll be mainly involved in embedding these new operational processes and ensuring that all our users are fully supported and confident in using the system. You’ll also have a chance to put your advanced system admin skills to use, both by fixing bugs as they emerge and by delivering an ongoing programme of incremental improvements. Later, there will be an opportunity to work on the design and development of new operational functionality in collaboration with our external development partner. Of course, you’ll also be looking after the day-to-day administration, supporting users, providing training and producing documentation. You can also expect some exposure Tableau, which we have developed as our primary system for the delivery of high-level management information.

Although you’ll work very closely with the Head of Finance and Operations, you’ll also interface with users at all levels across the organisation as you ensure that they have the knowledge, tools and information that they need. We’ll expect you to use all your imagination, innovation and flair, and in return we’ll offer you plenty of freedom to make your own choices and try things out.

This is a maternity cover role, but you’ll be joining at an exciting time for the team. We are intrinsically enterprising, collaborative and delivery-minded, and have massive ambition to deliver the most sophisticated systems and business intelligence of any organisation in our sector. If you’re the right person, you could play a key part in helping us to achieve this.
