The Opportunity
We have an opening for an Instrumentation, Electrical & Programmer Technician in our Production Analytics team in North Dakota. This role has accountability for supporting the US Field Operations team in an I/E capacity. The successful applicant must demonstrate expertise in PLC software and components and have two to four years of experience in I/E-related roles. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, listen, and follow complex instructions. Generating and sharing ideas is an essential part of this role. As a member of this team, you will be the contact point for various internal and external stakeholders, so your communication and interpersonal skills should be excellent. This position does require some weekends to be on call.
What You Will Do
Address and fix I/E-related problems
Install I/E parts required for day-to-day operations
Program PLCs within the field, including: Allen Bradley, ROC, TotalFlow (PCCU), and Unitronics
Assist with site shutdowns
Monitor and interpret SCADA data
Work with other teams to plan and implement projects, including organizing work crews
Budget related tasks, including work quotes and ordering parts
The Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil and Gas
High School Diploma required
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Acceptable driving record
