Job Description

About Us

Proton.ai is revolutionizing wholesale distribution. Distributors sell nearly every physical good you come across. Key to the economy, they make up over 28% of GDP. But there’s a problem. Selling as a distributor is complicated. Distributors carry hundreds of thousands of complicated SKUs, making it impossible for distributors to know what their customers need. Proton cuts through this complexity with AI. We provide a solution that modernizes distributors' sales efforts. And in doing so, we help distributors better serve their customers.

Our company is in hyper growth mode. We’ve grown >6X YoY. Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to join the Proton.ai team.

The Role:

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager for a brand new team focused on building the frameworks and the features that will help us integrate with the other enterprise tools our customers are using. Our customers use a variety of CRMs, ERPs, reporting tools, pricing tools, and more. You'll be working on a key part of Proton's mission: to simplify the complex network of systems distributor sales reps need to navigate day to day in order to do their job.

Your first project will be setting up two-way sync between some of our features (contact information, tasks and call notes) and the most common CRMs in our industry. Once this is completed, you'll work closely with the product team to set the roadmap for your team.

Your Impact:

This is a brand new role and you'll play a critical part in Proton's mission by shaping the way Proton approaches enterprise connectivity from the ground up. Your work will directly impact users removing the pain point they now face of updating three different systems after a sales call, or checking three places to answer a simple question.

What you'll do:

  • Talk to users, managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders at our customers to uncover problems and understand their context

  • Gather document requirements in product specs

  • Build clarity for your team navigating complex enterprise data projects

  • Create and own a roadmap for your team

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Have 2+ years Product Management Experience

  • Are a systems thinker who can make sense of complex inputs for yourself and others

  • Have empathy for our customers - understand and prioritize their needs via user feedback, user research, experimentation, and data

  • Are comfortable working closely with our customer's IT teams to understand requirements and remove roadblocks

  • Value collaboration and can work cross-functionally across the organization to translate ideas into reality

Benefits

This is a full-time, fully remote position: Competitive salary $115k (United States—cost of living adjusted for other countries), plus equity, health benefits (we pay 99%), 401k and a generous vacation policy.
