Clients are allocated by line manager and the Sales Advisor manages their day-to-day workload. Output is regularly monitored, and reviewed, by the line manager.
The most challenging parts of the role include managing a high volume of sales and balancing competing interests of multiple parties, and remaining calm and neutral throughout. Similarly, maintaining productive relationships if a sale moves more slowly than desired. The role relies on proactively making connections between clients and buyers, and having the tenacity and commercial adaptability to find solutions during transactions.
The nature of the role means that independent, self-starter working is as important as teamwork and collaboration, and they should be enjoyed equally.
The client-facing, customer service nature of the role requires high levels of communication with colleagues as well as clients, meaning that office attendance is required.
Travelling across the country to meet clients means that occasional remote working is necessary.
