At the top of our agenda is to create a diverse and open culture where we foster talent and provide opportunities to build a rewarding career in a company that is vibrant and at the start of an exciting journey.

We have a culture that is inclusive, fun, and constantly strives for excellence, we describe it as ‘all in’. Our values are:

  • Get Smart – we ask questions, explore, learn, and continuously strive for excellence

  • Park the Ego – we are welcoming and open, and embrace different thinking

About the Team and role

We are a team with a diverse set of experiences across organisations, geographies and specialisms. Our Chief People and Development Officer is passionate about culture, talent, and diversity. We have an HR Business Partner who specialises in total reward and employee relations and a Talent Acquisition Partner who looks after all things recruitment as well as building our external employer brand, talent pools and early career channels.

We are looking an HR Analyst on a fixed term basis who can pick up the amazing work our current HR Analyst has done to ensure our processes and systems are radically simple and increase our people insights.

The successful candidate will do this by:

  • Owning our HR system, Sage People. You will lead on the updating of records to ensure data accuracy, building reports, and liaising with the providers where necessary to automate input and output where possible.

  • Developing insights through people analytics. This role will lead on building and developing our MI capabilities; creating data analysis and reporting as required of key metrics, e.g., HR dashboard, board reports, gender pay gap

  • Reviewing and documenting HR processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve ways of working by utilising technology

  • Leading on our benefit and payroll operations, recruitment coordination, employee onboarding and offboarding

  • Supporting the annual compensation review cycles, including data analysis, market benchmarking and preparation of communication materials

  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business, being the point person for key processes

  • Being adaptable and collaborative; we are a small HR team, so any successful candidates should be happy to roll up their sleeves to help across all HR disciplines and/or have some interest in reward, compensation and employee relations.

To do this, we’re going to need you to bring:

  • Experience of working in an HR team, ideally for a minimum of two years

  • Experience of supporting payroll and the coordination of employee benefits

  • Knowledge and experience of creating HR metrics

  • A detail oriented approach and a passion for creating efficiencies and automation

  • A proactive approach being both a self-starter and a self-learner

  • Relentless curiosity; asking questions to get to better solutions

  • A strong partnership capability - you are a strong collaborator

  • The ability to look at the big picture, using data in decision making

  • The ability to work at pace on multiple initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with people at all levels both internally and externally

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • It is not essential but it would be advantageous to be comfortable with Power BI

  • An interest in employee relations would also be a benefit
