Job Description

Reports to the Head of Reporting Platform and Data Services  

Role Description

Objective: Support the product strategy, planning, delivery, communications, marketing and in life optimization of the assigned product. 

Team 

Reporting Platform and Data Services team, Data Science and Analytics 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Work with the Product Manager to determine and deliver the product roadmap  

  • Engage in aspects of product lifecycle management and version delivery as guided by the Product Manager 

  • Support the product through its lifecycle including delivery cycles engaging across the organisation to provide insights, analysis and inform product management decision-taking 

  • Engaging with Data Engineering and DevOps/IT utilise the sandbox/test environment during development to optimise new features and functionality prior to launch/introduction 

  • Undertake product performance assessment to identify features and functionality (new and refined) that address evolving user needs and inform future product versions/iterations 

  • Working with Product Strategy team to monitor product performance metrics against KPIs 

Person Specification

  • Understanding of RI and ESG software, knowledge, and data products  

  • Knowledge of product management and the product lifecycle, preferably in a SaaS, RaaS or software development environment.  

  • Knowledge of using the sandbox/test environment during development to optimise new features and functionality prior to launch/introduction  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. 

  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
