Salary: £58,000 - £64,000+ excellent benefits, including 27 days holiday, 2:1 pension (up to 12% employer contribution), plus many more
Location: London (Aldgate East)/Hybrid with an expectation to attend our London office approximately once per week, and at other times for client meetings and networking events; with flexibility on working from home at other times

We are Fair4All Finance. We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking a Strategic Communications Senior Manager to lead the development and delivery of our organisation-wide communications and engagement strategy.
The Senior Comms Strategic Manager is is a pivotal role, shaping how we influence and engage stakeholders across financial services, government, regulators, social investors and civil society to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances. Working within a small, collaborative and purpose-led organisation, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to ensure our communications are clear, consistent, impactful and aligned with our mission and values.
You will guide colleagues across the organisation to communicate effectively, strengthen our communications capability through systems and templates, and play a key role in building understanding, support and momentum for financial inclusion across the financial services system.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the ongoing development and delivery of Fair4All Finance’s communications and engagement strategy, aligned to organisational priorities.
Shape and deliver communications that influence key stakeholders across financial services, government, regulators, social investment and civil society.
Lead the production of high-quality publications, reports and evidence outputs that communicate learning and impact.
Develop and distribute engaging content across digital and offline channels.
Act as guardian of Fair4All Finance’s brand, tone of voice and visual identity.
Oversee social media channels (LinkedIn and X/Twitter) and manage the organisation’s website, improving content and performance.
Lead media relations activity and support senior colleagues with media interviews, speaking engagements and strategic messaging.
Plan and deliver stakeholder events (online and in person).
Line-manage and develop a small communications team, building capability and sharing best practice.
Assess communications effectiveness and ensure activity delivers value for money.
Essential experience & qualifications:
Proven experience designing and delivering impactful communications as part of an organisation-wide strategy.
Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, including experience supporting senior leaders.
Experience of media relations, including building journalist relationships and securing national-level coverage.
Ability to translate complex evidence, insights and data into clear, compelling narratives.
Strong digital communications capability, including oversight of websites, social media and content performance.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery, often to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of the UK financial services or consumer finance landscape, or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
Desirable experience
Experience working in a social purpose, not-for-profit or public sector organisation.
Experience within a Financial Services environment
Experience of policy, regulatory or advocacy communications.
Experience delivering cause-based campaigns or working with influencers or brand ambassadors.
Experience developing accessible and inclusive communications.

Founded in 2019, we are funded from the Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme is led by the financial industry and backed by the UK government. This makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.
