We are now seeking a Coordinator to join our Investment Team and support across both our Portfolio Management and Investment Product functions. For this position, we’re looking for someone with clear and thorough communication skills, strong organizational skills, confidence in liaising across a variety of stakeholders, and one with a heightened attention to detail. This is an exciting, multi-faceted role balancing a variety of responsibilities, asking one to operate in support of the team, but also lead with confidence and ease to ensure the team operates as a well-oiled machine. This role within this team is at the heart of Unreasonable, designed to masterfully organize the core of Unreasonable’s newest offering and future growth. Capital is often the greatest need of our scaling ventures and this team is designed to support our Fellows with providing access to capital both directly though our investment club, the Unreasonable Collective, and via our network of financial institutions and partners. This is a unique opportunity to join the team tasked with designing and delivering that value. This position will work across American, European, and Asian time-zones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investor relations:

  • Support on quarterly and annual reporting including bi-annual reports for LPs and quarterly portfolio updates

  • Drive portfolio creation by connecting members with ventures on targeted Board and advisory opportunities

  • Host intimate, facilitated discussions around investment opportunities for members

Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) structuring & investment facilitation:

  • Support in onboarding investors and venture to Flow, acting as the main point of contact 

  • Support members during live transactions inc. platform and process support 

  • Work with third-party SPV provider, Flow to create new SPVs (approx. every 6 weeks) 

Data management:

  • Keep our CRM up to date (updating user records, logging activity etc.), and create and optimize workflows for relationship management

  • Track event participation, deal participation, and diversity data within the Collective 

  • Actively analyze CRM and database data, and look for opportunities to improve processes, systems, and experiences for investors

  • Support Head of Compliance in managing legal documentation and processes 

Event support:

  • Support Senior Investment Associate with coordination and logistics for 8-10 venture showcases per year

  • Extend invitations to invitees and track their responses, following up and coordinating registrations

General administration & communication:

  • Draft and organize templated communications

  • Build, distribute, and monitor monthly Deal Digest including management of member interest

Required Education and Experience:

  • Experience is gained in many different ways across a multitude of avenues. Here at Unreasonable, we are committed to building a diverse team and fostering an inclusive environment. As guidance, we expect this hire to come with 2-3 years of experience in an administration, coordination, investment or data management function. This is an entry-level role within our organization.

  • September 30th - October 5th: We will give select applicants a small “trial project” representative of the type of work associated with this position. Though we will give you 5 days to finish your "trial project," it should only take a few hours to complete.

  • October 10th - 15th: Assuming both of us want to continue exploring the potential of working together, we'll invite you to interview with our team.

  • October 13th -18th: We will conduct reference checks on the two to three most compelling applicants for this position.

  • October 20th: Assuming you made it through the reference checks, you will be notified whether or not the position is yours.

  • November 1st: Ideally, those accepted will be able to join the company no later than November 1st, 2021.
