People Manager
As we continue our exciting growth plans into 2024 to deliver on our ambitious goals and refreshed strategy, we’re looking for a great People Manager to join our team.
This role will manage work within the people strategy across the whole team member lifecycle, looking at how we recruit, develop, reward and retain highly engaged and talented people. You will lead HR project work, develop our processes and policies and everything else which comes with being a generalist in a people related role in a growing organisation.
The role will play an important part in developing a positive and inclusive working culture and developing a practical and engaging approach to how we embed equality, diversity and inclusion actions. As well as strengthening our employer brand, in line with our overall brand, to help attract diverse, talented and committed people who are aligned with our values.
Some key responsibilities include
Manage and coordinate all people related activities including team member relations, recruitment and orientation, driving the process for team performance and development reviews as well associated administration
Design and build processes to enable Fair4All Finance to manage people and related matters efficiently and reliably
Support managers in addressing high performance, performance-related issues and devising appropriate development plans
Provide guidance and support on all matters related to team relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management, and team well-being
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring Fair4All Finance attracts, selects, and retains great talent. Including delivering a comprehensive on and offboarding programme
Support the Director of People with the management of people policies and procedures, including reward benchmarking, team engagement surveys, wellbeing and diversity initiatives
To be successful, your experience and capability will include:
Proven experience working on and successfully delivering against strategic people plans
Broad exposure and hands-on experience of practical HR or people management work including developing effective processes and systems
Passionate about recruitment and have a proven track record of sourcing great talent
Sound knowledge of employment legislation and a practical approach to application in a fast paced workplace
Experience of administering contracts (employment, secondments and supplier)
Highly organised and detail-orientated, with proven ability to implement plans effectively
Outstanding written and verbal communication
Desirable experience and capabilities
It would be great if you also have:
Experience working in a fast paced startup or high growth environment
CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
