Campaign Organiser (Herefordshire)
The Green Party
- Closing: 10:00am, 24th Aug 2026 BST
Job Description
The Green Party of England and Wales is recruiting a Campaign Organiser to help deliver an ambitious and successful campaign programme across Herefordshire in preparation for the Local Elections in May 2027.
Working closely with the Herefordshire Organiser, local campaign teams, volunteers, candidates and elected representatives, the postholder will play a key role in building campaign capacity, coordinating volunteers and supporting the delivery of effective local election campaigns. Through strong organisation, relationship building and practical campaign support, the role will help turn local enthusiasm into well-planned, high-impact campaigning activity.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving tangible results. The successful candidate will be proactive, well organised and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of volunteers and stakeholders, helping to create an engaged and effective campaigning community across Herefordshire.
Application closing date is 24 August at 10 am and interviews will take place week commencing 31st August 2026.
We welcome applications from individuals with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Previous employment within party politics is not essential; we recognise that opportunities to gain professional political campaigning experience are limited and encourage applications from people who can demonstrate the skills, behaviours and commitment required to succeed in the role.
We are particularly keen to hear from people from backgrounds that remain underrepresented in politics.
