Job title: Technical Manager - Supplier Assurance & Regulatory

Department: Technical

Salary: A competitive salary is available plus great company benefits

Location: Little HQ, Park Royal & Little Base, Farringdon

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Little Moons are bite-sized, handheld balls of artisan gelato, cheesecake, and ganache wrapped in a soft and chewy rice flour dough to create a distinctive snack that’s bursting with flavour.

Their rollout across Europe has been pioneered by sister and brother duo Vivien and Howard Wong, who founded Little Moons in 2010.  The product’s roots are in high-end restaurants, but over the last six years, retail packs have swept the frozen snacking category in grocery and food service.

Little Moons has rapidly established mochi, and frozen snacking, across Europe. In 2024 we generated more than £60m revenue, and in 2025 we continue to drive towards double digit growth. We are also a Certified B Corporation, which reflects our strong commitment to balancing profit and purpose. This certification means we are part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact, reinforcing our dedication to making a meaningful difference.

We are very proud of the culture that we have built at Little Moons. Not to stroke our own egos, but we are a great bunch of people - smart, passionate, interesting, and funny - who work hard to support and live our values, all the while keeping our mission in our forethoughts.

The Role:

Ready to take the lead in keeping our products safe and our brand trusted?

As Technical Manager - Supplier Assurance & Regulatory, you’ll be the guardian of food integrity, leading the way in how we work with suppliers and ensuring every ingredient meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance. From shaping strategy to solving complex challenges, you’ll be at the heart of making sure everything we create is right first time.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Procurement, Innovation, and Marketing, to bring ideas to life without compromising on integrity. It’s a role for someone who thrives on variety: one day you’re driving improvements with suppliers, the next you’re navigating global regulations to keep us ahead of the curve. You’ll also help build capability within the team, creating a culture of learning and collaboration.

If you love combining technical expertise with creativity and problem-solving and want to play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe and high-quality products to the world - this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Supplier Assurance Strategy

  • Develop and implement a robust supplier assurance framework, including performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage Raw Material Governance

  • Oversee ingredient specifications, approval processes, and change control to ensure safety, authenticity, and compliance with brand standards.

Ensure Regulatory & Export Compliance

  • Interpret and apply food regulations across all markets, ensuring compliance with labelling, claims, certifications, and export requirements.

  • Maintain audit readiness and regulatory documentation.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Identify risks, implement corrective actions, and lead initiatives to strengthen supplier performance and regulatory compliance.

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Collaborate with Procurement, Innovation, Marketing, and Sales to ensure right first-time food safety, quality and compliance

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Proactively manage compliance risks, lead investigations, and implement CAPA for supplier or regulatory issues.

Train and Develop the Team

  • Build technical capability within the team by providing coaching, mentoring, and training on supplier assurance, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the subject matter expert for food safety, legality, and regulatory requirements; deliver training and guidance to internal teams and suppliers.

  • Contribute to the Brighter Future Sustainability Strategy and company's linked OKRs.

  • Support your function and any direct report(s) to contribute too.

Essential Requirements:

General

  • You’re a strategic thinker who anticipates risks and drives continuous improvement.

  • You’re skilled at stakeholder engagement and influencing across Procurement, Innovation, Marketing, and external partners.

  • You collaborate brilliantly across departments to drive improvements and solve problems.

  • You bring strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, even under pressure.

  • You can translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance.

  • You have experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-standard technical teams to build capability and foster inclusion.

  • You’re structured, solutions-focused, and always looking for smarter ways to work.

  • You communicate clearly, build trust easily, and bring people with you.

  • You care about food integrity, sustainability, and creating a positive, values-led culture.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline - or equivalent experience in the food industry.

  • Food Safety & HACCP Level 3
