The Opportunity  

We have an opening for a Field Health and Safety Advisor in our Health and Safety team. Located in North Dakota, this role has accountability for monitoring and continuously improving the safe working behaviors of both Enerplus employees and Contractor Partners. Preference will be given to those with knowledge of operations in oil and gas, exploration, and production. As a member of this team, you will be the contact point for various internal and external stakeholders, so your communication and interpersonal skills should be excellent.    

    

What You Will Do  

  • Facilitate contractor audits of required safety programs and variance requests   

  • Support operations with various safety-related needs 

  • Actively manage contractor and operations safety performance   

  • Work with operations teams to develop corrective actions for contractor audit findings   

  • Regularly manage concurrent projects and assignments   

  • Provide sound input and recommendations to team and management   

   

The Requirements       

  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred    

   

What You Bring  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams   

  • Working knowledge and experience in production operations and land-based drilling and completions   

  • Ability to provide support, advice, and assistance to business partners in their day-to-day operations  

  • A strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and regulators  

  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce results under tight time constraints
