The Role 

As a full-stack web developer in our founding engineering team, you’ll work across our cloud and user applications (external and internal parts of our product) to deliver a world-class product user experience and user interface. 

Reporting to our Chief Technology Officer, you will work at the intersection of product and our ML/AI engineering functions and will have the opportunity to have a massive impact. 

Although there is existing code, this is a fairly new product so there is a lot of opportunity to build out greenfield features and evolve the existing codebase. 

You will also have the opportunity to be exposed to other areas of our product development including sensor hardware, embedded software and machine learning. 

What that looks like on a day-to-day basis

• Working alongside product and customer success teams to translate user requirements into intuitive (and good looking) UI for our web app

• Architecting and developing changes to our IoT processing pipeline (processing billions of data points) to implement new features or optimise for cost or performance

• Building out new APIs that scale to millions of request for customers and partners to integrate with

• Developing integrations with third party services

• Building out application UI, UX using libraries like React, Apollo and your own APIs 

• Maintaining core parts of our application, including web applications, user flows, backend services and APIs

• Working with data engineering to ensure seamless data flows between sensor data and analytics user interfaces (billions of data points)

• Collaborating with the product team on roadmap feature development and timelines

What you’ll need 

• Experience building beautiful front end web applications with React JS

• Strong Javascript skills

• Experience building and scaling APIs (REST or GraphQL)

• Experience with the .NET Core stack - C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core

• An all-in team player attitude. Be there for your team and help us create a company we all love working for

It’s a plus for us if you have any experience with

• Typescript

• GraphQL

• Experience with or an AWS services Cert, including but not limited to S3, ECS, EC2, Cognito, Lambda, IoT

• B2B SaaS UX & product strategy
