Job Description

Job title: Clinical Quality Administrator

Salary: £32,295 per year

Type of contract: 12 months Fixed term contract

Location: London Bridge, with hybrid working

Working hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

About the role

We are looking for a well-organised and proactive Administrator to join our Clinical Quality team. Reporting to the Head of Guidance, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretariat support that helps the team, its committees and the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA) to deliver work that improves the safety and quality of women’s healthcare.

You will join a collaborative, values-led team working with colleagues, clinicians, committee members and external stakeholders. The role offers variety across committee support, guidance processes and NMPA activity, with the opportunity to build strong working relationships and contribute to the College’s wider mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretariat support for key Clinical Quality committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing and circulating papers, taking accurate minutes, maintaining action logs and following up agreed actions.

  • Coordinate committee recruitment and onboarding, including applications, assessments, interviews, inductions and ongoing communications with members and volunteers.

  • Support guidance consultation and peer review processes by coordinating stakeholder engagement, collating feedback, maintaining accurate records and supporting approvals.

  • Manage the Clinical Effectiveness and NMPA shared inboxes, triaging enquiries, drafting responses where appropriate and directing queries to the right colleagues.

  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the NMPA for one day each week, including meeting coordination, papers, minutes, action tracking, communications and general team support.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys varied administrative work, takes pride in accuracy and service, and wants to contribute to better outcomes and experiences for women and girls.
