Operations Director

We are delighted to be advertising a key role at Borough Market, London’s historic food market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but highly dynamic senior management team with responsibility for guiding the direction of a major institution.

The successful postholder will be responsible for leading the Market’s day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and effective running of this popular destination. They will also play a significant strategic role at what is an exciting time in the Market’s evolution. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Director will work closely with rest of the senior management team and the Board to support the delivery of a new 2030 strategic Plan and the Market’s first-ever Food Policy.

Applicants will need to be passionate about food, committed to sustainability and EDI, have a least five years’ senior-level operational management experience, be able to demonstrate professional leadership skills and strategic thinking, and have the outstanding communication skills needed to build strong partnerships with our traders and other stakeholders.
