Job Description

Frontline is continuing to grow and expand its impact. As we embark on this new stage in the organisation’s development we are looking to recruit two Recruitment Officers (one permanent and one fixed-term contract) to join the team, who will be responsible for sourcing and selecting applicants who have the potential to excel on the largest social work programme in England, which impacts on the lives of hundreds of children and families.

The Candidate

The Recruitment Officers will be responsible for increasing awareness of the Frontline programme and presenting social work in an enthusiastic manner as the rewarding and prestigious profession it is. You will be representing one of the top 30 graduate employers in the country and will develop relationships with university career services, faculties and societies to promote the programme to students. You will have ownership over a specific region in the country and have the autonomy to plan and deliver events which broaden awareness and increase the appeal of social work through the Frontline programme. Furthermore, Recruitment Officers will also focus on the attraction of individuals who would consider a career change by joining the programme.

Frontline are committed to recruiting a diverse group of prospective social workers who reflect the communities they serve. We are particularly interested to receive applications from those who have an understanding of the barriers faced by one or more of the different groups who are under-represented in our cohort: males, those from ethnic minority backgrounds, those with disabilities. As a result, the team will be better equipped to bring in a diverse group of applicants and share unique perspectives internally as we manage applicant experience. The individual will bring experience of building positive relationships, the ability to articulate social work as a positive profession and be able to effectively persuade the right people to apply to the programme as well as having good analytical and evaluation skills.
