Job Description

Role Purpose

The Green Party seeks an exceptional Social Media Officer to oversee the Party’s social media presence. In this role, you will give Green Party content meaningful impact through digital channels through timely, engaging and strategic content across a variety of channels and audiences. These channels will include, but not necessarily be limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the Green Party’s day to day, election and campaign activities, as well as providing exposure to the social media aspects of the Party’s development and engagement initiatives. This role also requires an ability to coordinate (on a day-to-day basis) and amplify the social media activity of the Green Party leadership team and a range of Green Party’s communications functions including the spokespeople network, Parliamentary Offices, City Hall, and regional/local parties.
