About the role
Are you passionate about nutrition and supporting high-quality patient care?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time Dietetic Assistant to join our Community Health Team in Dhekelia, Cyprus.
This is an exciting role within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary healthcare team, supporting the delivery of dietetic services to both adults and children across the Sovereign Base Areas. Working under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of nutritional care and health promotion initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience in nutrition within a diverse clinical and public health setting. You will gain exposure to a wide range of cases and initiatives, while working closely with experienced professionals and playing an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community.
As this role is part time, flexible working can be discussed at interview, and we will explore what’s possible for the role.
About the team
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative community healthcare team, working alongside Midwives, Health Visitors, School Nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Based primarily in Dhekelia, you will provide support across all Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus, contributing to the delivery of a high-quality service to the Armed Forces community.
About you
You will have a strong interest in nutrition and healthcare, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be confident working with a wide range of individuals, including children, families, and healthcare professionals, and be able to deliver information in a clear and supportive way. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team.
