Job Description
As part of the Custom Education team, you will support Custom Education client services, including managing course logistics and supporting client relationships in conjunction with Account Managers for all NOLS Custom Education courses for which they are responsible.
This includes coordinating with NOLS campuses around the world, to create unique educational opportunities for students at both NOLS campuses and remote sites.
Key Logistical Points:
Must be able to work flexible and irregular hours, including some weekends and holidays.
Location: Headquarter, Lander, WY or Remote
Start date: January 6, 2024

What does an Account Associate do?
You will be involved in the following activities:
Works closely with Account Managers to support new and ongoing client relationships, including course paperwork, logistics, and programming for assigned courses.
Responsible for organizing course logistics in coordination with various NOLS departments and campuses. This includes managing equipment needs, rations, student travel, and addressing specific student needs.
Collaborate with Expedition Admissions Officers working with Custom Education courses.
Oversee enrollment progress on course rosters; maintaining current and accurate information in the database.
Assist with communication for current and prospective students, families, and clients, through phone and email.
Assist other NOLS Custom Education staff and NOLS Expeditions Admissions staff in a variety of capacities. Executes administrative tasks related to specific course responsibilities.
Occasional weekend and evening work may be required, particularly from June to August, to support students, families, and organizational contacts.
For qualified NOLS faculty, this position has flexibility for field work and classroom teaching in the range of 2-8 weeks per year, approved on a case-by-case basis, depending on performance, schedule, and workload.
Potential to visit one to three clients per year.

Understanding of Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Help Scout, and Hubspot.
In your first 6 months, you will:
Gain a better understanding of Custom Education and our role within the larger NOLS organization.
Create systems to help manage assigned course logistics and enrollment processes.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients.
Collaborate with Account Managers and other Account Associates to prepare for the summer course load.
