Job Description

Job Purpose 

 

To ensure the smooth running of the partnerships team activities, including data and reporting, financial management and operations. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Data and reporting: 

  • To ensure we are able to report against both relationship status and financial position through our CRM and/or other data strategy approved systems 

  • To work with partnerships managers to complete regular updates of the in kind and cash contributions secured from our partners using existing models and processes 

  • To track monthly the value of partnership activity, working with individuals from across the organisation to collate and interrogate data and reports and working closely with the finance team to attribute correct auditable value to specific activities 

  • To support partnerships managers with their upkeep of salesforce data as required to ensure they are using the system correctly 

  • To work with the data strategy team to ensure that scope for the Salesforce and any other digital data management and reporting system meets the requirements for the partnerships team and can be set up according to our reporting needs 

  • To support the Director in monthly reporting to SLT and external stakeholders on the scale and scope of the pipeline 

  • Work with internal teams to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of data between teams as needed, for example, working with our mentoring team to ensure the data required to manage our partnerships is accessible and accurate 

 

 Financial Management: 

  • To ensure invoices, payment orders and other financial documentation are completed in a timely manner 

  • To communicate with partners to ensure payments are made on time and as expected 

  • To work with the finance team to ensure that processes and procedures for tracking and reporting of payments run effectively and efficiently for the partnerships team 

 

Administrative support for the partnerships team: 

  • Support with the arrangement of occasional larger, more complex meetings such as with senior executives or multiple stakeholders from across companies 

  • Ad hoc support with data and reporting to input to briefs for senior staff 

  • Work with external agencies to ensure written collateral is attractive and professional, e.g., our introduction and pitching packs 

  • Support the wider organisation with the arrangement and delivery of events, both online and in person 

  

Operational responsibilities: 

  • Represent the partnerships team on cross working teams and groups as assigned to you by the Partnership Director. 

  • Engage with the organisation in a positive and constructive manner to improve the quality and impact of our work for both our beneficiaries and our partners. 

 

Skills & Competencies Required: 

 

Software experience: 

  • High level of competence and experience working in Excel, particularly the building of clear, easy to use and logical models for forecasting and scenario planning 

  • Experience of working with Salesforce to ensure timely and accurate recording of information and data 

  • Proficient use of PowerPoint – many of our documents and pitches are built using this software 

 

Building and running financial models: 

  • Experienced and comfortable working in excel with a broad range of data, building scenario plans and forecasts based on assumptions and rapidly processing information to produce recommendations for decision making 

 

Project management skills: 

  • Ability to work logically and systematically, focusing on both detail and strategic view 

  • Experience of working with multiple teams within an organisation to manage delivery against objectives, particularly in collaboration with others to ensure targets are met. 

  • Efficient organisation skills and an ability to pay attention to detail 

  • Proven ability to successfully manage a range of projects and responsibilities simultaneously 

 

Communication skills: 

  • High-quality presentation and verbal communication skills. 

  • High-quality written presentation skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. 

  • An ability to manage the expectations, demands, and priorities of multiple internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend further 

Hours: 35 hours / 5 days a week but open to flexible working
