Job Description

We are seeking an intern to work in our Client & Strategy Development (C&SD) team over the Summer of 2023. C&SD is responsible for investor relations, fundraising, and strategic business initiatives across the Bridges platform.

We are seeking an ambitious self-starter to work within our C&SD team to meet the continually growing requirements of Bridges’ fundraising activities and diverse LP /investor base needs.

Priorities for the internship  

The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, across including investor presentations, fund financial models and Private Placement Memorandums

  • Assist in the preparation of reporting for LPs/investors across fund performance and on portfolio companies

  • Prepare responses to LPs/investors on questions regarding underlying funds/portfolio companies

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and presentations for senior management and for our Annual Investor Meeting (taking place in June 2023)

  • Work on Bridges' internal LP/investor databases

  The key attributes we’re looking for in a candidate:

  •   Keen interest in sustainable and impact investment

  •   Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation (PowerPoint) skills

  • Proven ability to design and execute in-depth research project from start to finish

  • Good interpersonal skills and multi-stakeholder management

  • Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and within a team

Suitable candidates will have: 

  • Excellent academic qualifications – degree level education or experience -  MBA, MPA, MPP (in progress or completed) preferred

  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with Excel (modelling experience a plus)

  • Management consulting, research, strategy or investment background

  • Good project management skills

 Work authorisation: 

Candidates must be able to evidence legal authorisation to work in the UK. Bridges is unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
