Job Description

The Head of Reward is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of total reward strategies for the organisation. This role will require you to work at a senior level with senior level stakeholders to design, implement and monitor reward programmes.

The role will require you to review, improve and communicate total reward package  to attract and retain talent. Your work will extend across the designing and planning of reward packages for employees that include a combination of both financial and non-financial rewards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of People Operations in delivering against the people team’s business plan and budget. Provide Regular reporting to the Director of People Operations, Director of Development and Culture, and Chief People Officer as and when required

  • To lead the implementation of Global reward strategy that aligns with the PRI’s culture whilst retaining and attracting talen

  • Accountable for all aspects of Reward, ensuring an inclusive approach

  • To manage pay and reward projects from concept to delivery, including scoping, modelling and implementation of a transparent global reward framework across PRI.

  • Support the Director, People Operations in managing the PRI payroll budget and reporting.

  • Working with Finance and Managers on grant management from a People aspect.

  • Define, design and deliver the annual pay review process, to ensure PRI remain competitive in attracting and retaining talent

  • Conduct internal and external pay and benefits benchmarking and market intelligence, including managing the 3rd party relationship with WTW and our reward consultant.

  • Working the Director of People Development & Culture on projects involving career progression, promotions and development

  • Preparation of complex pay data analysis, reporting and documentation for the Director of People Operations, Executive team members and Board

  • Lead the UK and Global review and development of reward and benefits packages and insurance renewals

  • Accountable with Finance for monthly sign off  all global payrolls, with a view in time to review the processes and implement new practices to improve efficiencies and reporting tools.

  • Working with the Global Employer of Records to ensure compliance in local regulations in regard to the employment and reward.

  • Deliver innovative reports, dashboards, metrics and analysis that supports the People function and business units in making informed, data-driven decisions.

  • Leading and informing on global mobility, to include global PEO compliance, Visa’s and any other work considerations for our global employee community.

  • Act as People Team system lead/champion (for Sage People) 

 Person Specification

  • Previous experience in HR, specifically working in a Pay/Reward Role or having worked on pay/reward projects at senior level.

  • Knowledge of pay and reward best practice, annual leave reward programmes (bonus and annual pay rewards,) pay frameworks and benchmarking methods.

  • Strong quantitative, data modelling and analytical skills with experience working in HR or another business functional environment.

  • Experience of Interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information.

  • Experience of utilising People and Reward systems (ideally Sage People)

  • A collaborative and consultative approach to working with others & committed to fostering an inclusive environment.

  • Excellent networking, relationship management and interpersonal skills and experience of building strong and productive relationships

  • Strong programme management focus given multiple priorities run simultaneously skills, with experience in delivering complex projects successfully, including directing others that will not be your direct reports
