The Opportunity
Enerplus is on an exciting journey to become Best in Basin. We are looking for a People and Culture Specialist to join our Employee Experience team. As a member of this team, you will help create and enable a culture and workplace where everyone feels welcome and where everyone can actively participate and contribute through high employee engagement, productivity and wellbeing and delivery of superior business results for Enerplus. Our preference is to have this position located in Calgary but are also open to applicants from Denver.
Reporting to the Lead, People and Culture Specialist, you will support our accounting, finance, tax, marketing, digital technology, and corporate sustainability teams. You possess exceptional advisory skills and are a strategic business partner that demonstrates business acumen and builds strong and collaborative working relationships. You utilize your business insights, experience, and data to explore new and innovative solutions to accelerate leader and team business and culture performance and engagement and foster optimal employee experiences.
In addition to providing first-level consultative services and support, you are the subject matter expert, partner and coach with leaders and teams on integration and execution of people life cycle practices and processes. This includes talent and workforce planning, organization change management, talent management, employee development, rewards and recognition, and leader and team effectiveness.
What You Will Do
Role model, influence and advocate our culture and actively lead and participate in building and sustaining engaging employee experiences.
Influence and advocate positive culture, engagement, and employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
Provide guidance to leaders and employees regarding employee policies, practices, and procedures
Support people and culture colleagues with implementation of various programs and initiatives
The Requirements
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business/Commerce, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years’ progressively more senior strategic human resources business partnering.
