Party Manager, Brighton & Hove (Maternity Cover)
The Green Party
- Closing: 11:59pm, 16th Feb 2023 GMT
Job Description
Could you manage the Brighton & Hove Green Party (BHGP) through this pivotal year?
This is a unique opportunity for a politically-aware individual to manage a dedicated local office team while building on BHGP’s current fundraising capabilities to support Brighton & Hove through the 2023 Local Elections and into the run up to the next General Election.
We have a dedicated and passionate team with high ambitions for what the Green Party can achieve in Brighton & Hove. We are looking for a professional who can match these ambitions over the course of 2023 while also adhering to our strict ethical principles.
Building on your established experience and expertise, and working closely with the Green Party locally, you will be responsible for:
1. the delivery of BHGP’s campaigning and election strategy, as well as wider organisational development;
2. the development and implementation of BHGP’s fundraising and other income-generation strategies; and
3. the management of the BHGP office team, acting as the line manager for local party employees.
We appreciate that this role has a broad remit – that’s one of the many things that makes it so rewarding! However, to be successful as Party Manager, you don’t need to be an expert in all of these areas, as you will have an excellent team to support you.
If you have any questions about this opportunity, please feel free to contact our Party Manager, Sarah FitzGerald, on sarah.fitzgerald@greenparty.org.uk
This role is important in helping to take BHGP to the next stage of its journey.
