Job Description

Overview of Job

The Bounce Back Lab is a new inter-agency project office, comprising officers from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Workforce Singapore (WSG), Ministry of Health (MOH), and Government Technology Agency (GovTech). 

You will support the Lab in using behavioural insights and design thinking to better understand stakeholders’ behaviours, biases, motivations. Through your research, you will develop prototypes and test our solutions that will better support Singaporeans who have encountered employment or health shock(s). To be effective in your role, you should be inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity and flexible.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve human-centricity of the Lab’s programmes, services and communications through driving changes in departments’ business strategies and processes

  • Project management

  • Raise awareness and deepen capabilities in design thinking and behavioural insights methods

  • User research

  • Literature reviews

  • Data analysis

  • User testing, eye-tracker tests

  • Co-creation workshops

  • Randomized controlled trials

  • Stakeholder management

  • Project management

  • Training workshops

 

Job Requirements:

  •  Passionate about improving the lives of Singaporeans

  • Tertiary qualification

  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g. able to translate broad concepts into specific policies and sieve out key issues of relevance) and conceptual ability (e.g. able to synthesise a broad range of information into an integrated framework)

  • Excellent writing, communication and digital literacy skills.

  • Ability to work closely with officers from different Government agencies and other key stakeholders.

  • Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications or strong interest in Behavioural Insights/Design Thinking may apply. Position will commensurate with experience.

 

Knowledge

Background and experience in behavioural economics, psychology, or related disciplines would be an added advantage.
