Job Description

The Financial Inclusion Coordinator (Helpline Services) is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager & Development Managers to develop, implement and mainstream key strategic national services for the Financial Inclusion Programme, delivering real change for people from a diverse range of backgrounds in crisis across the UK. The role will support the implementation of the national helpline services developed in partnership across the UK, by working closely with key internal teams and colleagues across our national delivery partners to ensure that the services are successfully piloted and mainstreamed, delivering improved experience and outcomes to people in crisis. The role also has responsibility for maintaining reporting and monitoring systems and risk registers for services and partnerships.  

Role responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager & Development Managers to deliver national helpline services working with delivery partners including projects focusing on developing and improving inclusive and accessible services, to provide high quality income maximisation and other social welfare law advice for people in crisis.

  • Support the maintaining of a risk register across each partnership with identification and appropriate escalation as needed

  • Work with the team to ensure effective communications to food banks, relevant internal teams and colleagues within partner organisations, to maintain awareness of and buy-in to projects and partnerships

  • Support the team and partners with monitoring of project progress and ensure that programme impact reporting is collated and accessible in a timely manner and that all project documentation is accurate and up to date

  • Support joint governance arrangements including organising meetings and papers and taking minutes as required

  • Support engagement and alignment with key internal teams (eg Operations, Policy & Research, Fundraising and Volunteering) and with helpline services related requests requirements.
