RJC Engineers (RJC) is seeking a Building Information Model Technologist in Saskatoon.

The Building Information Model Technologist /Structural Drafter will: 

  • Have a Diploma in Civil/Structural Drafting or Architectural Technology from a program recognized by Technical Professionals Saskatchewan, or equivalent 

  • Have 5+ years working practice with REVIT

  • Be a self-motivated, reliable, and a positive team player who can work with minimal supervision  

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be committed to providing excellent client service  

  • Have structural drafting knowledge and be keen to continuously develop your technical skills  

  • Be an inquisitive, clear thinker who can determine what work is needed and draw rational conclusions from information available. 

 In the first 6 months you will: 

  • Develop finished building models and drawings from general conceptual information and design notes. 

  • Co-ordinate RJC’s drawings with those of other disciplines on projects. 

  • Have an opportunity to communicate design through your drawings, exhibit your project drafting quality, and demonstrate your ability for efficiency and meeting deadlines 

  • Work as part of a collaborative team, to produce drawings on a variety of projects
