This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum of 30 hours a week (pro rata), we are open to discussing various working patterns.

The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) is seeking to appoint an experienced standalone IT Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing ICVCMs IT strategy, providing day to day management of IT function delivery (primarily via our outsourced IT MSP), organisation information security, all related systems, policies and processes, acting as a general IT subject matter expert, and the delivery of IT projects that help drive the organisations strategic and operational plans.

ICVCMs IT support is delivered by a managed services provider, therefore significant contract management experience, including of an MSP, is a requirement of this role. Working in partnership with the MSP, the successful candidate will ensure services are delivered to agreed SLAs and OLAs. Some administration support will also be provided by one of our Operations Coordinators.

ICVCM is committed to exploring and implementing new IT solutions which help to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, to achieve our organisation objectives.

ICVCM is a fully remote organisation, as such experience with Microsoft cloud-based environments (inc. Admin Centre and the M365 suite) is essential.

We will consider candidates based outside of the UK for this role, but as a UK based organisation candidates must be able to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of UK information security law and IT best practice. Candidates must also be prepared to work +/- 2 hours of GMT to ensure crossover with most team members.

Experience of working in an SME, not for profit, fully remote and standalone role would be beneficial.

This role is offered on a remote basis, as a two year fixed term contract with potential for extension dependent on funding. The salary for this role is advertised in GBP and based on UK market rates; if you are based outside the UK, salaries are adjusted to reflect your local market.
