Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is aligned with the mission and values of Australian Impact Investments. You will be passionate about mobilising capital for a better tomorrow, enthusiastic about applying your analytical skills in an evolving sector and committed to excellence in everything you do.
You will thrive on being a core member of a small, dynamic team engaged in diverse activities including investment research, due diligence, monitoring and reporting, as well as participating in delivery of client projects and business development. You will be naturally curious, knowledge hungry and self-motivated to dive deep on research into complex social and environmental issues, as well as find reward in improving and streamlining processes across all aspects of business operations.
What you will do
Contribute to evaluation of private market investment opportunities through research, due diligence, financial analysis and modelling, report writing and deal support.
Conduct ESG and ethical research on listed equities and fixed income.
Prepare thematic research and presentations on trending social and environmental issues.
Monitor and report on the financial and impact performance of client investments.
Assist with delivery of client projects by preparing materials and presentations.
Support new business development with research and pitch materials.
Key skills and attributes
Early Career: You are tertiary qualified with 1-2 years’ experience in investment or financial analysis within financial services, funds management, superannuation or consulting.
Analytical Mindset: You are an agile and fast learner with excellent attention to detail, adept at undertaking quantitative and qualitive analysis to assess the merits of investment opportunities investments.
Excellent communicator: You have strong relationship management skills with excellent communication skills including the ability to concisely articulate information to internal and external audiences in verbal, written and presentation form.
Team Player: You can juggle competing demands, focus on the task at hand, and work as a team player in a dynamic results-based environment committed and willing to roll up your sleeves to do what is needed to achieve the best outcomes for our clients, the communities we serve and our business.
Impact Focused: You will demonstrate passion for environmental and social impact and be energised by mobilising capital for a better tomorrow.
