Associate, North America
Centre for Public Impact
- Closing: 11:59pm, 21st Aug 2022 EDT
Job Description
At the Centre for Public Impact (CPI), we believe in the potential of government to bring about better outcomes for people. Yet, we have found that the systems, structures, and processes of government today are often not set up to respond to the complex challenges we face as a society. That’s why we have an emerging vision to reimagine government so that it works for everyone.
A global not-for-profit organization founded by the Boston Consulting Group, we act as a learning partner for governments, public servants, and the diverse network of changemakers who are leading the charge to reimagine government. We work with them to hold space to collectively make sense of the complex challenges we face and drive meaningful change through learning and experimentation. In North America, we do this by:
Exploring topics critical to the future of government
Equipping governments with new capabilities, encouraging them to think and work differently
Convening peer learning networks, supporting public servants to share what works and accelerating action
Over the past 5 years, our team in North America has experienced over 500% growth as our vision for government gained traction. In 2021 alone, we worked with over 170 governments and 920 public servants. We helped cities design housing solutions as homelessness spiked during COVID-19, rebuild trust with communities negatively impacted by policing and work together to build better systems, innovate to sequester carbon emissions and inspire communities to take action on climate change , and more! We shifted mindsets to make government work for and with the people.
To that end, we are seeking an associate who is an entrepreneurial self-starter with passion for Public Sector/Social Impact and particular interest in cities. The Associate will play a key role during a pivotal period for our organization’s growth.
