ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone organised, creative, and detail-oriented to help improve how we manage grants and data. You’ll play a key role in creating efficient systems, supporting grantee partners, and making sure everything runs smoothly as we grow.
ABOUT REARC
re:arc is a two and a half year old philanthropic organisation based in Denmark funding primarily in the intersection of climate action and architecture. We aim to fund community-led solutions that address the root causes of climate breakdown. Over the next two years the vast majority of our grants will be directed to Latin America and the Caribbean.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Streamline Systems: Simplify and improve how we work, organise information, and manage grants.
Coordinate Across Teams: Work closely with Grants, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth grant processes.
Support Compliance: Help with legal and due diligence tasks, ensuring grantees meet requirements.
Manage Data: Keep databases up-to-date and ensure partner information is secure.
Collaborate on Communications: Help develop application systems and assist with external facing information sharing and gathering.
Collaborate with grantee partners: help potential and current grantee partners find the necessary information to access or manage grants
Event Management: Occasionally help plan events for grantee partners (none planned for 2025 yet).
Travel: Join team meetings (online) and in-person sessions (often in Denmark or Latin America/Caribbean).

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must-Have:
Experience creating systems and handling grant processes.
Familiarity with grassroots activism or community-led initiatives.
Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and Miro.
Fluent in English, with basic reading skills in Spanish or Portuguese.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience of working with international financial systems to move money across borders
Experience of working in a philanthropic institution
Fluent in spoken and written Spanish or Portuguese.
Interest in making legal processes simple.
Experience with data security.
Proven experience of working with feminist and decolonial values
