Cricket Scotland is the national governing body for cricket in Scotland, dedicated to promoting and developing the sport at all levels. We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, growth and inclusivity within the cricketing community.

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join our team, who will support the operations and commercial department with sponsorship, marketing, events and promotions,

Overall job purpose

Have responsibility for growing commercial partnerships, fan and membership engagement,  partnership activation and retail sales.

Main areas of responsibility

1 Strategic development

• Support in the development and implementation of a strategy for the delivery of enhanced revenues and improved self-sustainability for CS through access to external funding both financial and contra deals

• Deliver a strategy for enhanced revenue from home international matches through growth in ticketing income, broadcast, traditional/digital advertising and retail sales.

2 Sponsorship & Grant Funding

• Target, approach and lead on negotiations with existing and new commercial sponsors to support the organisation both at international team and grassroots introductory levels.

• Develop a knowledge of accessible grants and prioritise and manage a Cricket Scotland approach to these to fund our programmes.

3 Fan Membership

• Grow the fan membership offering

• Develop fan engagement and promotional activities

4 Retail offering

• Lead on the retail offering of Cricket Scotland to its members and global fan base

5. Sponsor Activation

• Manage sponsor and partner relationships to grow the value of partnerships to both entities

• Implement a sponsor activation schedule maximising opportunities to develop relationships

6. CS Events

• Assist in the promotion of CS events including home international matches, tournaments and events

• Identify new opportunities to engage with corporate organisations throughout Scotland
