Working closely with Comic Relief and BBC Studios, you will help shape and deliver the overall talent strategy for Red Nose Day, identifying the talent partnerships, appearances and collaborations that generate excitement, create cultural conversation and drive fundraising impact.

We're looking for someone who knows the comedy landscape well - both established and up-and-coming & digital talent - with the experience, relationships and creative instincts to secure the biggest names in entertainment, whilst also identifying emerging talent and unexpected partnerships that make Red Nose Day feel fresh, relevant and unmissable.

Interviews are expected to take place w/c 24/08/2026.

Key responsibilities:

  • Jointly develop the overall talent strategy for Red Nose Day, working collaboratively across Comic Relief, BBC Studios and key production partners.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring talent activity aligns with the charity's campaigns, priorities and fundraising objectives.

  • Identify and secure a diverse mix of world-class talent, household names, cultural icons and emerging voices across TV, music, comedy, sport, digital and popular culture.

  • Develop a talent mix that combines globally recognised names with the most exciting new talent and rising stars.

  • Generate ambitious talent-led ideas, partnerships and appearances that create unforgettable Red Nose Day moments, drive national conversation and deliver significant press, audience and fundraising impact.

  • Work closely with the development team to identify talent opportunities that support editorial ambitions and fundraising goals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with agents, managers, publicists and talent representatives across the UK and internationally.

  • Lead talent negotiations and oversee talent communications throughout the development and production process.

  • Support the transition from development into production, ensuring talent plans are effectively delivered in the lead-up to Red Nose Day.

  • Identify opportunities for exclusive, unexpected and culturally relevant talent moments that reinforce Red Nose Day's position as one of the UK's biggest television events.

  • A proven track record of developing and delivering successful talent strategies.
