  • Help the Committee to review and monitor its own effectiveness.

  • Participate in training events related to the work of the Committee.

  • Work as a ‘critical friend’ with respect to all matters within the remit of the Committee.

  • Provide oversight on a range of issues.

TIME COMMITMENT

The Audit & Risk Committee currently meets quarterly in London, ideally in person.  The expected time commitment is 6 -8 days per year.

LENGTH OF APPOINTMENT

Independent Committee members are appointed for a term of three years. This can be extended for two further three-year periods, up to a maximum of nine years from date of appointment.

DON’T MEET EVERY SINGLE REQUIREMENT? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Comic Relief we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
