Job Description

PURPOSE

Following the recent refurbishment of our estate to support hybrid working, this role will take full responsibility of managing our London headquarters, whilst partnering with site contacts to manage sites in Edgbaston, Manchester, and Loughborough, ensuring we provide inspiring environments for our staff to work in. This role will also take ownership of all office Health and Safety matters.

YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing our sites to ensure office services run smoothly and professionally, whilst continuing to provide inspiring and collaborative spaces for our people.

  • Ensuring all sites meet Health and Safety requirements and comply with government legislation.

  • Managing a small reception team, ensuring a first-class front of house service is delivered, and all team members have clear service KPIs and role objectives.  

  • Managing the relationship with landlord representatives regarding facilities management for all sites, ensuring SLAs are delivered by all parties.

  • Understanding staff pressures and caring for their wellbeing and occupational health whilst in the office, working with the People Team to provide services and initiatives.

  • Managing office service budgets, including contract negotiations, raising POs, and reconciling invoices.

  • Leading on sustainability initiatives related to our buildings, including monitoring our overall environmental impact, increasing recycling, minimising waste, and reducing our electrical and water usage.

  • Commissioning and overseeing any minor building works, liaising with landlords, architects, surveyors, and contractors.

  • Responding quickly to emergencies that may arise and dealing with them appropriately. 

  • Assisting with the co-ordination of our social programmes, ensuring we have a strong and consistent calendar.

  • Participating in any future rent or lease reviews across the estate.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • Demonstrable experience in managing office and facility services over multiple sites.

  • Relevant Health & Safety qualifications.

  • Proven experience in risk assessment management.
