Job Description
PURPOSE
Responsible for leading the organisation and communication of the programme and ensuring a safe environment for all involved. We are looking for an individual with a strong skill set in administration and communication, that is well versed in the pastoral obligations (including residential camps). Experience of working in similar talent development environments would be beneficial.
The 2022 U15s Regional programme is scheduled to involve 11 days, for which a daily rate and expenses are paid. The successful candidate will be required to be available for approximately 11 days between 1st April 2022 to 31st August 2022 including attendance at the Bunbury Festival 2022 (July 31 - August 5).
Closing date for expressions of interest: 21st February 2022.
Virtual Interviews will be held on 7th March 2022.

YOU’LL BE DOING
PROGRAMME PLANNING
Liaise with National Talent Manager to ascertain framework of pre-Bunbury programme
Working with the Head Coach, develop a pre-Bunbury programme (NTM to approve)
Book facilities and undertake all logistics for training and matches
Ensure that necessary equipment is available for regional coaching sessions and matches
Liaise with Men’s Pathway Administrator to complete financial processes
NOMINATION & SELECTION
Work closely with PID Lead to ensure a fair and robust selection process is administered
Schedule online nominations meeting with ECB Player ID Lead
Communicate details of nomination meeting to County colleagues
Collate coaches’ scouting/ observation notes
COMMUNICATION
Lead all internal (regional management team) organisational communications
Lead communications to counties in relation to programming and selection
Employ provided templates for external communications
Be the initial point of contact for any injury/ selection issues
Communicate all injury/ selection issues immediately
Communicate squad lists to National Talent Manager, Player ID Lead, and Men’s Pathway Administrator
Communicate all pre-competition information to players; including:
Schedule
Relevant dates and times
Venue details
Kit and equipment requirements
Code of conduct
Emergency contact details
Medical information and dietary requirements
Hold all relevant emergency contact details and medical information for players
Ensure that all players and parents have staff (Manager and Coach) contact details
BUNBURY FESTIVAL
Be present for the entire competition
Be responsible for player safety and welfare as directed by Competition Safeguarding Officer
Ensure appropriate staff/player ratio is always maintained (2 members of staff for squad of 14)
Be responsible for the punctuality and conduct of the team away from matches
Liaise with designated staff
Be the main point of contact and communicate relevant information to Men’s Talent Pathway Administrator, scorers and umpires.
GENERAL
Ensure a safe environment and always comply with safeguarding guidelines.
Operate within designated budget (raise any concerns with NTM)
Assist with coaching activities and scouting as directed by the Head Coach or Player ID Lead
Role model high standards of personal and professional integrity at all times
Undertake other duties as requested by the National Talent Manager
