Job Description
This is an exciting hands on Art Director role overseeing the design direction of briefs to develop them into fully working responses across multiple channels, from digital, print and events to motion graphics.
Key Accountabilities / Objectives
To lead on the design and art direction across the Creative Services team with hands on design and art direction responsibility for developing design concepts across a wide range of creative deliverables incl campaigns, logos, graphic branding, advertising (static and digital), fundraising pack design, merchandise product design and motion graphics.
To manage and nurture internal and freelance designers and to share responsibility with the Creative Services Lead to match the best freelance design talent to creative projects.
To collaborate with the Photography Lead to develop photography from concept to shoot and to art direct Creative Services projects on location when applicable
To work as a creative team with the Creative Services Lead, Copy Writers and Creative Project Managers to develop and present creative responses to briefs
Contribute to developing and maintaining good studio processes to ensure creative work is delivered on schedule, on budget and to brief
Keep up to date with design innovation and share inspiring ideas across the team
Essential Education and Skills
Demonstrable experience at Art Director level with a portfolio showing visually inventive work across a range of platforms incl print, digital and some motion design ideally for major campaigns
Thorough understanding of Adobe Creative suite especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects

Strategically minded and able to work on a brief from ideation to delivery
Can work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and partners, remaining supportive, open, honest, and passionate.
