Job Description
Purpose of the post
As we continue to grow and innovate, we seek a visionary and experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead the implementation of our industry strategy.
Developing strong relationships with industry can help both partners remain at the forefront of cutting-edge discoveries and innovation. From pharmaceutical companies to digital health firms and software providers, industry endeavours to find solutions to complex health challenges. They require access to the knowledge, expertise and tools to do so, and our researchers, scientists and technologists can learn much in return.
HDR UK forms partnerships with industry where these can take forward the Institute's mission, vision and objectives. The way we work with industry must deliver benefits to patients and the public in deeper understanding of disease, better treatments and provision of better care. That is how we will retain trust in the use of data and return value to society.
The CBO will drive strategic partnerships, business development, and customer service efforts to achieve HDR UK’s growth and strategic delivery goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in commercial management, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business success. The role will be part of the Chief Operating Officer’s team and work closely with our executive leadership team and senior colleagues across the HDR UK community.
