Job Description

The Hundred is a sporting event like no other. World class entertainment, the world’s best players and the women’s and men’s games on equal footing. It is the highest profile new sports event to launch in the UK for many years and received extensive media coverage, broadcast across Sky Sports and BBC Sport.

As a Commercial Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of brilliant partners. You will work collaboratively with both them and internal stakeholders, to develop and deliver annual activation plans.

The role is perfect for a motivated, passionate, and experienced account manager who is used to autonomy on projects under their control. You will have the ability to work collaboratively and energize those around you.

  • You are passionate about delivering exceptional client service to partners and are experienced in delivering commercial contracts

  • You have worked with big brands and have a thorough understanding of the fundamental marketing principles and audience segmentation

  • You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills that build great relationships

  • You are very organised, with a high level of attention to detail 


  • Managing the delivery of commercial rights for key commercial partners for The Hundred  

  • Working alongside partners and their agencies to develop and implement innovative activation plans, that deliver against objectives and exceed KPI’s  

  • Liaising with Marketing, Digital, Events and Communications teams to support the delivery of partner campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with The Hundred’s strategy and engage target audiences

  • Building strong relationships within our commercial partners to develop a robust understanding of partner brands and businesses

  • Developing and delivering insight led partner evaluation presentations

  • Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager and Commercial Director to plan partnership renewals

  • Working to deliver player commercial appearances which deliver partner and The Hundred’s objectives

  • Attending matches as part of the event delivery team during the competition period

  • Managing partner servicing budgets

  • Managing supplier contracts, ensuring appropriate standards of service delivery

  • Contribution to driving of the overall commercial strategy including supporting new business initiatives



  • Established experience in a client facing role, managing lead or title level partnerships and activating through the line marketing campaigns 

  • Sound commercial sense with the ability to understand partner objectives, how to evaluate and evolve them, leading client conversations with confidence and gravitas 

  • Demonstrable experience in developing campaign strategy and generating creative ideas to assist partners to leverage their assets to deliver against KPI’s

  • Excellent project, planning and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure

  • The confidence and capability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills 

  • Experience of building process, ways of working and collaboration 

  • Strong presentation and reporting skills 

  • Understanding of the digital and marketing landscape  

  • Experience in commercial or partnership management in sport or entertainment 

  • Line management experience a benefit but not essential
