Job Description
PURPOSE
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about driving equity, diversity and inclusion in sport. The EDI and Communications Team delivers meaningful work that champions EDI across cricket and drives the game’s ambition to become the most inclusive sport.
With a strong focus on communications campaigns, the successful candidate will lead, create and execute high-quality initiatives designed to inspire positive behaviour change through EDI education and storytelling under the Raising The Game platform. From organising events and delivering integrated campaigns to managing a calendar of key EDI milestones and collaborating with stakeholders—from grassroots clubs to commercial partners—this role is perfect for someone who thrives on making a tangible difference through powerful communications and partnerships.
While EDI will be at the heart of this role, the ideal candidate should also be adaptable, contributing to broader campaigns and communications efforts as needed.
WHO WE ARE
The England and Wales Cricket Board is the national governing body for all cricket in England and Wales, supporting the game at every level – from grassroots to professional.
We believe cricket is a force for good that can have an enduring impact on everyone’s lives and we have an ambitious strategy to inspire a generation to say ‘cricket is a game for me’. It provides great entertainment. It teaches important skills, both physical and social. It can help inclusion and social cohesion, bringing communities together.
The ECB wants cricket to be the most inclusive sport in England and Wales. The ECB welcomes applications from all backgrounds to ensure we deliver our Inspiring Generations strategy and fulfil our purpose to connect communities and improve lives through cricket.
