Design & Animation Producer

The ECB digital team run several websites, apps, email membership programmes and over 50 social media channels, across a wide variety of teams, brands and consumer touchpoints from the playground to the Test Match arena. We are looking for a content producer with a strong skillset in design and motion to lead on the visual implementation of our brands and manage creative content production at our agencies.

They will be required to take responsibility for the day to day running for the design and animation workstreams – developing ideas, briefing agencies, and ensuring all content is exciting, innovative and right for the audience.

 The ideal candidate will have a design or motion background with a brilliant eye for style, but also be comfortable in managing stakeholders and juggling multiple briefs.

  • Overseeing the production for design and animated assets across the ECB.

  • Ensuring that the creative content is right for the target audiences, channels and works towards company objectives.

  • Being the ‘creative translator’ between the ECB digital, marketing and communications teams and the designers and animators themselves; storyboarding, scripting, developing moodboards, and briefing as required to achieve this.

  • Contributing to, and leading on, brainstorm sessions regarding the direction of our work.

  • Using your creativity, attention to detail, communication and organisational skills to build trust and respect across the organisation.

  • Working with various brand managers to evolve the look of the many brands we have, and how they are applied across digital touchpoints.

  • Facilitating the delivery of branded digital content for our commercial sponsors.

  • Reviewing content performance using social and website analytics and sharing insights to constantly improve ECB output.


  • Substantial experience in creative production, with lots of examples of exciting content you have produced, ideally in sport.

  • A really good understanding of online sports coverage and consumption.

  • A keen sense for what makes brilliant social and web content.

  • A forensic and relentless attention to detail.

  • Expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.

  • Confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders and presenting your thoughts and work.

  • Proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility and good humour, and an understanding that, due to the nature of the role, you may occasionally work unsociable hours around major competitions.
